Ogbeyalu Pamela Kalu-Abakwuo was born, raised, and educated in Nigeria; later travelled widely; and eventually settled in Baltimore, Maryland, where she furthered her education and now runs her businesses.
Pamela holds a bachelor’s degree in social sciences with a minor in psychology and a master of social work (MSW) specializing in child, adolescent, and family social work. She is the CEO of Esther’s Court LLC and Zoebay Events. She has led outreach initiatives for over 14 years, including support for homeless individuals and clothing drives in Baltimore and Nigeria.
She is also an experienced educator, a devoted mother, and a compassionate leader committed to family, service, and community development.
Pamela serves as chief executive officer of Esther’s Court Health Care Services, providing strategic leadership and oversight for the organization’s mission, growth, and quality of care.
Dr. Ebere Nduka, DNP, FNP-BC, serves as the On-Call Doctor at Esther’s Court Health Care Services, where she plays a vital role in ensuring residents have access to timely, compassionate, and high-quality medical care. With a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of South Alabama, along with both a Master’s Degree in Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Coppin State University, she brings advanced clinical expertise and a strong patient-centered approach to her role.
Dr. Nduka manages a wide range of acute and chronic health conditions and is also experienced in supporting individuals with substance use and alcohol dependence. Her practice includes medication-assisted treatment for opioid use disorder, including buprenorphine and Sublocade® injections.
As the primary on-call medical provider at Esther’s Court, she is dedicated to delivering responsive, personalized care that supports the health, safety, and well-being of every individual served.
Temitope Awosanya, RN, is a dedicated healthcare leader at Esther’s Court Health Care Services, where she plays an important role in supporting efficient operations and high-quality resident care. Esther’s Court describes its mission as providing compassionate, personalized support in a safe, family-like environment that promotes dignity, wellness, and independence.
In her role, Temitope helps oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring that services run smoothly, staff work effectively, and residents receive dependable, person-centered support. With a strong nursing background and a commitment to excellence, she contributes to maintaining a structured, safe, and supportive environment for both residents and team members. Her work reflects Esther’s Court’s broader focus on compassionate care, daily living support, and the overall well-being of those it serves.
Eke Udegha is a quality-focused healthcare professional at Esther’s Court Health Care Services, where he supports high standards in service delivery, safety, and daily operational excellence. In his role, he helps ensure that care processes, products, and services meet expected quality and regulatory standards while contributing to a smooth and efficient day-to-day running of the organization. He is described publicly as part of the leadership team at Esther’s Court.
He is responsible for strengthening quality assurance practices through team leadership, testing and monitoring strategies, performance review, and corrective action planning. By linking frontline operations, customer feedback, and organizational quality goals, Eke helps maintain a safe, reliable, and well-coordinated care environment. His attention to detail and commitment to keeping every item and process in top shape support the consistent delivery of compassionate, high-quality service aligned with Esther’s Court’s care mission.
Ronke A. Sofowote is a compassionate and highly experienced direct support care professional with over 16 years of dedicated service at Star of Maryland, Springfield. Trained as a GNA/CNA, CMT, and CPR professional, she provides essential care and support to individuals living with developmental and intellectual disabilities and to those facing various illnesses.
In addition to her caregiving role, Ronke oversees staffing and serves as the Service Coordinator, helping ensure smooth daily operations and quality support for both clients and staff. She is committed to improving the quality of life of the people she serves by assisting with daily living activities, supporting housekeeping needs, arranging and accompanying clients to appointments and social outings, and helping to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Her long-standing experience reflects her patience, reliability, leadership, and deep passion for caregiving. Ronke is also currently furthering her education by studying to become a nurse, demonstrating her strong commitment to growth, excellence, and continued service in the healthcare field.
